The PBHRF was set up in the year 1992. It is the only homeopathic research foundation in India, accredited by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India.

Well known homeopaths Dr Prasanta Banerji, Founder & Managing Trustee and Dr Pratip Banerji, Co Founder & Dy. Managing Trustee are the principal doctors of the foundation.

The foundation was set up inculcating the vision of Dr Prasanta Banerji to establish homeopathy as a scientific and verifiable system of alternative medicine accepted and integrated in modern day health care. The PBHRF has now become a center for path breaking treatment for acute as well as chronic diseases by the use of “The Banerji Protocol” of treatment using homeopathic medicines.
